Next pick City of Heroes Freedom vs city of heroes Going Rogue. Picking a server: Just pick one to start, you can transfer between servers (on all the major COH variations, AFAIK), so if you find you want to move, no problem. Rule Zero: you have low stakes, don't sweat it. It was needed. There are many choices when making a character. Kind of glad Widower showed up to clean this thing up. In my opinion, this thread has gotten way out of hand. I figured a few people would chime in and say a few words like, "Harassment of that level is bad, fair well PG" but didn't expect things to get carried away the way they have. I most certainly did not expect this thread to blow up the way it did. It came across on my Youtube feed, watched it and posted it. Yeah, had no idea of the drama going on there. I just try to give them a wide berth and enjoy the game while I can. I do feel sympathy for him in the first respect, though. If not, he had every right to be there doing his thing. Was the Hami raid he accidentally crashed listed in the player-led events calendar for that server? If so, and he didn't bother to check, maybe he should have. Nothing I could do personally to improve his experience in any of these areas. I don't really want to say more, because it sounds fuzzy and circumstantial to me. 16:30 Some alleged fallout with the CoH team about streaming a beta server event or something.Harrassment ensued, almost to the point of doxxing. 8:37 A lot of his SG officers were kicking people for political beliefs and/or "not being good enough." After trying (and failing) to get those officers to stop, he basically stripped all officer privileges except one.4:49 His group accidentally crashed a regular Hami raid and he, personally, got a lot of harrassment from it for a long period of time. That said, here are the bullet points I took away from it: This is why I posted this, because people who behave in this way need to be held accountable.ĭisclaimer - I don't know PG from Atom Ant, and I don't get the whole streaming thing at all. That is the kind of behavior that literally gets people killed. I mean, when players are trying to find out where you live and post that information online for others to see, that puts your life at unnecessary risk. It was about how others behaved in response to the things he has done. He did admit fault to his own mistakes and even understands that his logic may be flawed on some things. In all fairness, he did say that a lot of what happened was on him, I think his main issue is how people reacted to the things he has done.knowingly or unknowingly. Yay, today's society where people have been brainwashed into thinking that nothing's EVER their fault! People are arguing back and forth about the drama that Positive Gamer brought on himself and his own burnout, which he blames on others of course. It's kinda silly, in my expert opinion, to start talking about another thread and then not provide a link to it. Ok, for those of you who are interested, here's the link to the reddit post they're talking about.
